Foundation Pathway
Primary focus: strong skill foundation for ages 11–13
Tuesdays & Thursdays
6:00–7:30 PM
Superdome
This group is designed for athletes who are newer to volleyball or still building consistency, but who are ready for a structured and challenging training environment.
This is NOT beginner play — sessions are fast-paced and skill focused.
Athletes in Foundation are working toward:
- Consistent forearm passing platform
- Overhand serve development
- Movement to the ball every rep
- Overhead contact control
- Communication habits
- Sustaining short rallies
Promotion readiness to Development includes:
- ✔ Can pass with control
- ✔ Can serve consistently over the net
- ✔ Moves to the ball consistently
- ✔ Maintains focus and coachability
Development Pathway
Primary focus: club-readiness preparation
Mondays & Wednesdays — Superdome
6:00–7:30 PM
This group is for athletes who have the fundamentals and are working toward true club-level consistency.
Training becomes more technical, faster paced, and more game structured.
Athletes in Development are working on:
- Overhand serving consistency
- Passing in system
- Overhead setting accuracy
- Approach timing
- Serve-receive structure
- Rotational understanding
- Rally consistency at game speed
Graduates of Development should be club-ready.
Promotion readiness to Advanced includes:
- ✔ Consistent overhand serve
- ✔ Reliable serve-receive passing
- ✔ Sustains rallies at game speed
- ✔ Understands rotations independently
- ✔ Demonstrates competitive habits
Advanced Pathway (Invite Only)
Primary focus: high-performance and club acceleration
Mondays & Wednesdays — Fieldhouse
6:00–7:30 PM
Coach invitation required
This is our highest-level training environment. Sessions mirror club-level expectations and are designed for athletes pursuing ZSA travel teams and national-track development.
Athletes in Advanced are working on:
- In-system serve receive
- Transition offense
- Blocking and defensive reads
- Faster tempo decision-making
- Competitive discipline
- Leadership habits
Placement in Advanced is based on coach evaluation and readiness.
Movement Between Pathways
Athletes are continuously evaluated by our coaching staff. Movement between Pathways is based on:
- Skill consistency
- Game understanding
- Effort and coachability
- Training habits
Our goal is always to place athletes where they will be challenged appropriately and develop most effectively.
